What does "whipped" mean, and is a rich balm heavy?
We whip the tallow to fold in air, so even this rich blend goes on lighter than you'd expect and melts into skin rather than sitting on top. A pea-sized amount is plenty.
What does it smell like?
A soft, grounding blend of frankincense, myrrh, rosemary and lavender, time-honored botanicals from real essential oils. Our double-purified tallow means no beefy smell, just a warm, calming aroma.
Will such a rich balm clog pores or feel greasy?
For most people, no. Tallow absorbs well because it's so close to your skin's own oils, and a little melts in without a greasy film. If your skin is oilier, our lighter Lemongrass balm may suit you better.
