Treat your skin to the perfect balance of deep cleansing and gentle care with our Dual-Sided Egyptian Loofah & Cotton Pad.

Designed to elevate your daily shower ritual, this versatile, plant-based pad offers two unique experiences in one. The textured Egyptian loofah side gently sweeps away dead skin and unclogs pores for clear, youthful skin, while the plush natural cotton side lathers beautifully for a soft, soothing wash. Together, they effortlessly boost your natural radiance, leaving you feeling silky smooth, comforted, and completely refreshed from head to toe.

Because what you put on your body matters, our two-sided pad is crafted 100% free of plastics, synthetics, and hidden nano-plastics. It’s just pure, natural skincare that loves your body and the planet.

Stop using synthetic loofahs that shed micro-plastics onto your body.

I Made This Primal Tallow Balm For Us

Hi, I'm Rina, the founder of The Primal Tallow Balms and Soaps. I created this skincare line because I believe what we put on our skin should be as pure as what we eat.

My journey started with healing through nutrient-dense food, and it led me to skincare—because our skin absorbs everything. That's why we use only 100% grass-fed, finished tallow, sourced from local farmers, to craft clean, deeply nourishing products without any harmful chemicals.

This isn't just skincare—it's a return to nature, to real ingredients that truly heal. I'm beyond excited to share this with you and to grow this movement of people who care about what they put on their skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the two sides of the pad?

The pad is double-sided, so you get two levels of exfoliation in one. The soft cotton side is gentle for everyday buffing and more delicate areas, while the natural Egyptian loofah side is firmer for a deeper scrub on rougher spots. Flip it to match what your skin wants that day.

Which side should I use?

Use the cotton side for a gentle daily polish or on sensitive areas, and the loofah side when you want a more invigorating scrub, like on elbows, knees, heels or your back. Lighter pressure on the loofah side keeps it gentle too.

Do natural loofahs hold bacteria? Is it hygienic?

Kept properly, yes, and a natural loofah actually dries faster than a plastic pouf. Rinse it well after each use, squeeze it out, and let it dry fully somewhere airy rather than sealed in the shower. Give it an occasional soak in diluted vinegar, and replace it every few weeks, just like any body tool.

How do I care for it, and how often should I replace it?

Rinse and squeeze it out after each use and let it dry completely between uses. A quick soak in diluted white vinegar (or a run through the wash for the cotton side) keeps it fresh. Replace it roughly every three to four weeks, sooner if it starts to look worn.

Is a natural loofah better than a synthetic one?

We think so. Our Egyptian loofah is 100% natural and plastic-free, so there are no hidden microplastics going down your drain, and it's biodegradable at the end of its life. You get a satisfying, effective scrub that composts when you're done, unlike synthetic poufs.

How often should I exfoliate, and what should I use after?

Two to three times a week is plenty for most people, more gently if your skin is sensitive. Exfoliating first clears away dead skin so whatever you apply next absorbs better, so follow with one of our tallow balms or body lotions while skin is still damp for soft, nourished results.
