What's included, and what is each tool for?
Five tools for a full-body ritual: a dry body brush for pre-shower brushing, a firm loofah sponge for a deep scrub, a dual-sided loofah pad (soft cotton on one side, firmer loofah on the other), a long-handled scrubber for your back and hard-to-reach spots, and a foot brush for heels and feet. Together they cover everything from a gentle daily buff to a deep weekly exfoliation.
How do I dry brush, and what does it do?
Use the body brush on dry skin before you shower, sweeping in long strokes up toward your heart. It exfoliates away dead skin and leaves you feeling smooth and awake, and many people find it pleasantly stimulating and invigorating. Keep the pressure light, especially at first.
How often should I exfoliate or dry brush?
A few times a week is plenty for most people. Listen to your skin: if it feels tight, red or irritated, ease off. Gentle and regular beats hard and often.
Are natural loofahs hygienic, and how do I keep the tools clean?
Yes, with simple care. Rinse the loofah pieces after each use, squeeze them out and let everything dry fully somewhere airy. An occasional diluted-vinegar soak keeps the loofah fresh, and the wood and bristle tools just need to dry between uses. Replace the loofah parts every few weeks.
Is this gentle enough for sensitive skin?
Yes, if you go gently. Start with the soft cotton side of the pad, or the body brush with light pressure, and exfoliate less often. You can build up as your skin gets used to it.
What should I use after exfoliating?
Moisturize while your skin is still damp. Exfoliating clears the way for products to absorb better, so it's the perfect moment to apply one of our tallow balms or body lotions for soft, nourished, glowing skin.

Great stuff make your teeth shiny also
The tallow cream doesn’t leave you feeling all greasy and provides far more moisture than commercial lotion. Tallow soaps leave you feeling clean without all the chemicals in regular soap. I’ve also tried other tallow soaps and only use the Primal now.

I’ve been using the tallow face and body balm for several weeks now. For the past couple of winters I’ve had dry cracked and red skin on my left elbow. Since applying the balm on my elbow at night, it has visibly improved. It’s less red, cracked and feels alot smoother which you can see in the photos—top is before and bottom is today. I’m sorry my elbow selfies aren’t very good! It’s hard to take the photo. If you’d like I can ask a friend or family member to take it for me.

It is very moisturizing, yet soaks in quickly. Scent is pleasant. Before this I used to buy other brands, they all had a strong tallow smell. this one by far is the best I have used in the past 5 years.
