The Primal Tallow Paw & Nose Balm is made with 100% grass-fed, grass-finished tallow, cold-pressed organic olive oil and organic jojoba oil, with no essential oils, fragrance or synthetic additives. Rub a thin layer into dry, rough paw pads and a dry nose to soften and protect them from hot pavement, snow, salt and rough ground. A good pick for senior pets and active dogs whose pads take a beating. Three ingredients you can read, and nothing else.

Soft paws and a comfortable nose
It's made with only grass-fed tallow, organic olive oil and organic jojoba oil, with no essential oils, fragrance or synthetic additives. A little licking is expected. Apply a thin layer and distract your pet for a few minutes with a treat or toy so it soaks in instead of getting licked off.
It softens dry, rough paw pads and helps protect them from hot pavement, snow, ice and salt. Use it daily during harsh weather. For deep cracks, bleeding, limping or swelling, check with your vet.
Once or twice a day works for most pets, and before or after walks when the ground is hot or icy. Results vary, so adjust to your pet. Stop using it if you see any irritation.
Yes. It's made for dry noses and paw pads, and it's handy on dry elbows and rough patches too. Keep it away from the eyes and don't use it on open wounds.
Use a thin layer and let it soak in for 5 to 10 minutes, or apply it at bedtime. Tallow absorbs well, so very little is left on the surface.
Yes. With no essential oils, which are the main worry for cats, it suits cats' dry noses and paw pads. Use a very thin layer since cats groom more. It's fine for other furry pets too, but not for birds, since oil on feathers is harmful.

The tallow cream doesn’t leave you feeling all greasy and provides far more moisture than commercial lotion. Tallow soaps leave you feeling clean without all the chemicals in regular soap. I’ve also tried other tallow soaps and only use the Primal now.

Soap doesn’t dry skin out and the scrubber it comes in is not too harsh.

I’ve been using the tallow face and body balm for several weeks now. For the past couple of winters I’ve had dry cracked and red skin on my left elbow. Since applying the balm on my elbow at night, it has visibly improved. It’s less red, cracked and feels alot smoother which you can see in the photos—top is before and bottom is today. I’m sorry my elbow selfies aren’t very good! It’s hard to take the photo. If you’d like I can ask a friend or family member to take it for me.

I really like how this moisturizer melts into my skin. I prefer to use it at night but will switch to twice a day in the cooler months. It does a great job at keeping my skin hydrated through the night, Everytime I use it I wake up with glowy dewy skin.
