Is it really unscented, or will it smell like beef?
It's unscented in that we add no essential oils or fragrance. Tallow has a mild natural smell of its own, but we double-purify ours so it's very faint, and on the small area of your lips it's barely there and fades fast. Just clean, neutral moisture.
Is this the same as your whipped tallow balm?
Same grass-fed tallow base, just made firm for lips instead of whipped. It stays solid and travel-friendly and sinks into thin lip skin to soften and protect.
Can I use it anywhere besides my lips?
Yes, it's a little tallow balm in lip form, so it's handy on cuticles, dry knuckles and small rough patches too.
Is it gentle enough for sensitive lips or kids?
Yes. With no essential oils, fragrance or synthetic additives, it's about as simple and gentle as a balm gets, a good pick for sensitive lips and little ones. Patch test first if you like.
Does it actually help chapped lips?
